About Us

Dr. St. Petery has been practicing integrative medicine for over 20 years. She is board certified in Family Practice and also has her board certification with the Institute For Functional Medicine. Her passion for nutrition and exercise serve as tools to help her motivate her patients to achieve optimal health. Her own health issues have made her more understanding of the journey that each patient goes through on the path to wellness.

Dr. St. Petery is originally from Tallahassee, FL. She attended FSU and graduated with her BS in biology. She attended Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2000 with her DO degree. She then completed her residency in family practice in Largo. FL. She then began private practice in 2003 in Birmingham, AL. She has been practicing integrative medicine since she graduated from medical school. She expanded her integrative medical training with the Institute for Functional Medicine, and achieved board certification (IFMCP) with them in 2016, to become the first in the state with this title. She is also currently a member of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, and continues to enjoy learning new ways to manage environmental exposure health issues. She also has taken training courses in prolotherapy, oxidative therapy, nutritional IV therapy, stem cell therapy, and advanced injection techniques.
